"Developing & Supporting Effective Teaching Practice in the Lifelong Learning Sector - Guidance for Providers
Practitioner and inspection evidence shows that teachers and trainers who experience a range of teaching practice and are supported by a mentor have a broader understanding of how to teach and train effectively. Yet organisations, especially smaller providers, say it can be challenging to develop and support effective teaching practice.
To address this challenge, Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK) and ACETT (the national network of Centres for Excellence in Teacher Training) have worked together to develop this “plain English” guide which includes links to helpful online resources and ideas.
