Aim of the Event:

To support managers by showcasing regional support programmes and how they can help in achieving organisational aims for improvement or development.


Who should attend?

Any senior or middle manager involved in curriculum planning, delivery, quality improvement or staff development.


Objectives of the Day:

•   To offer information, approaches and support about programmes that will help providers with planning the curriculum and staff development.

•   Provide opportunities for colleagues to discuss, prioritise and plan how to manage the various opportunities available in the region to support coherent planning.

•   Provide opportunities to consider how available programmes can support and sustain innovation.

•   Facilitate understanding about links between curriculum support programmes.

and will include:

•   a plenary input about what makes good CPD and support for professional learning and how support from a range of agencies could be offered in a more coherent way to providers

•   group problem solving and personal agenda setting activities

•   a range of interactive workshops including strategies for implementation, management and sustainability of support programmes that are available across the region (delegates will be able to select which workshops to attend on the day).

•   a "market place" of information, activities and opportunities to discuss regional support programmes.

•   LLUK - Further Education Workforce Strategy

•   World Class Skills - support with employer engagement

•   Awarding Bodies - support from ABC, City & Guilds and Edexcel in the region


Delegate Fee:

This event is free to attend, however if it should become oversubscribed we will need to limit places to a maximum of two per organisation.
