The Centre for Informal Learning
Learning South West, a long established educational charity, host to the South West Centre of Excellence for Teacher Training and the Regional Youth Work Unit, has established the Centre for Informal Learning (CfIL) to provide accredited qualifications as a natural extension of our services to the region. Our programmes will be run at cost and any surplus generated will contribute to Learning South West’s charitable activity and services to our members
Learning South West and the Regional Youth Work Unit have a strong and established reputation in providing professional development opportunities to the teaching and learning and youth sectors. CfIL draws on our established networks of experienced and qualified teachers, assessors and youth workers to provide expert trainers and assessors with direct links to current practice
We are an ABC Awards Approved Centre and able to tailor accredited learning programmes to meet the needs of our members and partners in the South West region. Our programmes are open to all who meet the entry requirements, and Learning South West members will benefit from reduced fees for our qualifications.
