Goals and Priorities
Our Goals
Learning South West has 3 key goals, which all its work is aimed towards:
1. Develop networks and communities of practice leading to improved learning through experience by practitioners and other stakeholders working with young people and all learners in the South West.
2. Support members and other stakeholders working with young people and all learners in the South West through facilitating, and where necessary providing, support in planning, delivering and accrediting of innovative and holistic workforce and professional development with the active involvement of practitioners and other stakeholders.
3. Support members and other stakeholders working with young people and all learners in the South West to ensure the active participation of young people and all learners in planning, managing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating services.
To see how these goals are being taken forward and how we will evaluate achievements against these goals, see our summary of our Annual Plans for 2007/8.
Our Priorities
Learning South West also has 3 internal change priorities, which reflect how it is seeking to change and improve itself as an organisation:
1. Improve our relationship with, and responsiveness to members.
2. Improving our management, especially project management, capacity.
3. Becoming an exemplary learning organisation.
