NEW COMPACT PUBLISHED The refreshed national Compact signed by Gordon Brown on behalf of the Government and Simon Blake on behalf of The Third Sector was published on 16th December following a period of consultion on a draft document which ran from 20th July to 12th October.  The refreshed Compact comes as two seperate documents; An Introduction to the Compact which deals with: what the Compact is, who does the Compact apply to, guidance for implementation and resolving differences; and The Compact which deals with policy development, allocating resources and advancing equality.
