Hello, my name is Kerin Burke and I am the Institute for Learning (IfL) Regional Adviser for the South West.  I can
provide support and advice for colleagues and organisations around:

•
IfL membership
•   applying for the professional status of QTLS or ATLS
    (Professional Formation)
•   planning, undertaking, recording and declaring
    Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
•   using the IfL's on-line
REfLECT tool
•   qualification requirements for working in the Learning
    & Skills sector
•   reflecting on practice

I also attend IfL networks and events enabling me to disseminate the latest information about lfL and their activities to colleagues across the region by delivering regional and local support seminars and providing individual phone and e-mail support.

As Co-ordinator for the
South West Centre for Excellence in Teacher Training (SWCETT) I can also help organisations to understand and respond to current developments within the Learning and Skills Sector, particularly relating to Initial Teacher Training (ITT) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

If you, or your organisation, would like to access this support by inviting me to:

•   attend a networking event
•   visit your organisation to make a support visit
•   attend a team meeting or staff development day
•   deliver Professional Formation, Reflect  or other training
•   work with groups of practitioners around sharing practice and reflecting on aspects of
    working successfully with learners
