LOCAL YOUTH WORK AWARDS

Local areas in the South West have developed a range of local awards for accrediting and rewarding young people's achievement through youth work.

These local awards can be counted as 'accredited outcomes' for young people as long as they meet the 10 criteria for local awards set out in the publication 'Recording young people's progress and accreditation in youth work', NYA, 2005.  New Local Awards are moderated through our Accreditation Network to ensure they meet the NYA criteria.

Below are some examples of local awards from across our region.  You are welcome to browse this information and adapt it for your own use - but please give credit where necessary to the originator.
