THEN YOU MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN THIS NEW, SHORT COURSE WHICH OFFERS A GREAT INTRODUCTION TO YOUTH WORK
LEVEL 2 AWARD IN YOUTH WORK PRACTICE
based in Yeovil, starting September 2012
This Award is a great short introduction to youth work, accredited by ABC Awards, and provides 12 credits at Level 2.The course will be run on 3 full days during September and October (dates will be fixed to suit course participants) at a venue in central Yeovil. Course participants should be either already active as volunteers or paid staff working with young people, or able to start working as a volunteer or paid youth worker while they undertake the course. Work with young people can include youth clubs and projects, sports and arts organisations or organisations working with young people experiencing challenges in their lives.
The Award is assessed through a mixture of course work and assessment of your practical work with young people. The cost of the course will be £220 per person, and we need to recruit between 12 and 20 learners
