Consultant Profiles

 Jan Jones is a freelance education consultant, researcher and adviser specialising in the field of post-16 learning and skills development, with a particular interest in information, advice and guidance (IAG).  With qualifications in teaching, social work and careers guidance, she is a Registered Assessor and Adviser for the matrix quality standard for IAG.  Jan is a member of the Kaleidoscope group. 

 Gwen Blake is an experienced national, regional and local adviser and trainer, specialising in initial teacher training and Skills for Life (SfL). A member of the Kaleidoscope group. 

 Marilyn Hartwell is a freelance teaching and learning specialist and researcher, working with national bodies, learning providers and employers to transform the learning experience. A member of the Kaleidoscope group.

Hazel English is freelance trainer and consultant with a passion for e-learning. She has designed and delivered online courses in management and training to deliver e-learning. She is a member of Kaleidoscope.

Annmarie Higgins is an experienced trainer in the learning and skills sector.  She has delivered SfL, predominantly numeracy, in most learning settings, with particular experience in supporting 16 - 19 year olds. She is member of the Kaleidoscope group.

   Sue Prescott is a specialist in education, training and management.  She has particular interest in action research that leads to improvements in the learning experience.  Sue is a member of Kaleidoscope.

Val Barker is a freelance consultant, teacher,  trainer and writer, specialising in English and Literacy.  A member of Kaleidoscope.

Diane Rawlings is an education practitioner, trainer and adviser, specialising in adult and 14-19 education, with 30 years experience in FE, ACL and offender learning.  Her main areas of expertise are Skills for life, teacher education and more recently the 14-19 diploma.
