A Green Venue

Learning South West is committed to supporting the sustainable development of the South West in all areas of our activity.

Staff and visitors to Bishops Hull House are encouraged to recycle with collection points around the conference facility. Our organic waste is also collected and goes on the compost heap that is used to make our garden flourish.

We are committed to supporting local producers and the local economy using locally sourced, organic produce where possible. Our suppliers include Miles Tea & Coffee in Minehead, bottled milk from Gundenham Dairy, Wellington, M. A. Collard  Butcher South Road, Taunton, Mature Cheddar from Wyke Farms, Wyke Champflower, Bruton, free range eggs from Chilliswood Farm Dipford, Trull, Whitehole Spring Water from the Mendip Hills in Somerset & reception flowers created by Bloomin Lovely Florist, Wellington Somerset.

Our beautiful gardens are maintained by our gardener Simon Wilkins click here to see Simon's Blog
