Learning South West is an independent charity, which is a cross-sector membership organisation.  Our members include local authorities, further education colleges, private training providers and voluntary sector organisations.

Our website provides a range of information about how Learning South West is helping people and organisations to learn together and from each other, to achieve three key goals:
1. Develop networks and communities of practice.
2. Improve workforce development.
3. Improve youth, employer and learner participation.

If you’re looking for information about professional development events, the Regional Youth Work Unit, or want to find out more about the latest major projects we are delivering in the South West you’ve come to the right place.

You can also find information about ABC Awards, one of the largest awarding bodies nationally, which has a base at Learning South West.

Our site also offers access to a range of experienced consultants who can support your organisation. Some of these consultants are members of the Kaleidoscope group.

Information about the first class conference facilities on offer at our premises, Bishops Hull House, can also be found here.

Please contact us to give us feedback on the website, if you want more information or to work with us.  We have a 60 years history of being committed to learning but always feel like we are just getting started.

Our promise is to provide all services of equal quality which meet your needs and fulfil your rights. You can expect to be treated fairly, with respect, dignity and understanding whoever you are and whatever your background.
